Hey Founders!
Be honest. How many TikToks have you saved for “inspiration” this week?
And how many have you actually filmed?
Yeah… let’s fix that.
We just launched the Founder’s TikTok OS! It walks you through picking ideas, writing hooks, and getting your videos filmed and posted.
If your saved folder is growing faster than your account, this one’s for you.
Now, onto this week’s trends!

This Week's Quick Take
Stay childlike. The teenagers run TikTok. They’re starting most of the trends, so don’t take yourself too seriously. Be like Peter Pan and never grow up!

Trend 1 — The You Are What You Eat Trend
Let’s get a glimpse into who you are in all areas of life.
This trend is simple, and you might not even have to record anything.
Just fill out this list and pull some videos that correspond to your answers:
You are what you eat, but you’re also:
The hobbies you have
The company you’ve built
The places you’ve traveled
The music you listen to
The partner you choose
The people you surround yourself with
The things you say about yourself
The way you take care of yourself
The way you were raised
If you don’t like one, skip it or switch it out for something else!
Why it Works For You:
This gives people a look into your life.
The more interesting, the better.
For instance, if your hobby is unicycling, I’d say it’s safe to assume you’ll get a lot of comments.
Or if you collect Beanie Babies, you’ll probably welcome a whole new community to your page.
Showing your personality can unlock more engagement and cause a surge of follower growth.
@spencer.barbosa I am so much more than JUST what I eat 🥰 inspo @Kim Wolff #girls #trend #selflove #positivity

Trend 2 — The Zara Larsson Trend
If you don’t know who Zara Larsson is, pause what you’re doing and look her up.
“A never-ending midnight suhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhunnnnnn”
You’ll understand what I mean if you watch just one video hehe!
You’ll also understand the trend more, too.
In her choreography, her dancers lift her up for a few seconds, and she strikes a pose.
Her fans loved it so much that they turned it into a funny trend.
Here’s how I’d explain it: when you reach for something, you naturally hit the “Zara Larsson.”
Why it Works For You:
This is good for you because you might be reaching for:
Your product
Something you love
Something related to your everyday job
If I were to do this, I’d probably reach for my computer charger.
Give this a try and don’t forget to point your toes!

Trend 3 — The I Know I’ve Had Them Trend
Don’t you just hate it when you’re an expert in your field, and people forget it?
I know I’m not alone.
Now's the time to share your feelings about the situation.
Just record someone else saying the first line.
Then, record yourself reacting to it and saying, “Yeah, I know. I’ve had them.”
Add on-screen text that says, “When someone tries to explain [insert industry topic here], but I’ve literally [insert your credentials here].”
Why it Works For You:
It’s a humble brag and a funny trend all in one.
Likkkkeeeee if I were to do this, I’d probably say:
When someone tries to explain how important personal brands are, but I’ve literally generated billions of views for founders.
